Blog Post 1

The main purpose of my blog is to reflect about things in literature, and because of this I feel like my blog should have more of a professional mood. This is why I chose a more traditional font, like the Georgia font for my page text. My header font is traditional also, but a little more formal with the Dancing Script font. This font also gives my blog a little more of a femine feel which I think is important for me to establish.
The colors on my blog are neutral to give it a relaxed and tranquil vibe so that readers of my blog can focus on my reflections of literature, instead of bright colors in the background. I also chose a background picture of an open book, because I think that readers of my blog should keep an open mind while reading my posts and then develop their own opinions afterwards. I believe the photo helps to remind them of this. Also, the book shows exactly what my blog is about.
